Today, you’ll enjoy a Spice Tour and Jozani Forest excursion, two of Zanzibar’s highlights. Start with a visit to the spice and fruit plantations near Stone Town, where you’ll learn about how spices and herbs are grown and used in local medicine, cooking, and cosmetics. Enjoy the fresh aromas and taste tropical fruits along the way.
After the tour, enjoy a Swahili-style lunch at a local guide’s home, prepared with the same spices you’ve seen.
