Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative from Superior African Safari and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take the rest of the day to relax, settle in, and soak up the serene Tanzanian atmosphere as you prepare for the adventure ahead. If time allows, you may explore the vibrant town of Arusha, often called the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

After breakfast in Arusha, set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its sweeping landscapes dotted with majestic baobab trees and its reputation as home to some of Tanzania’s largest elephant herds. As you enter the park, enjoy a thrilling game drive where you may spot elephants marching gracefully across the plains, giraffes browsing on acacia trees, zebras and wildebeests grazing in herds, and a wealth of birdlife along the Tarangire River.
